Well, Coyote basically is a live album, isn't it?

In a recording sense, yes (IE it was recorded live into a mixing board, not in single instrument takes - same as DAWCT) but not live in, well... A live sense, if that makes any sense.

The lyrics on DAWCT, as dreamy and avant as they are, might be my favourite overall, even if it's my least favourite Kayo Dot album overall. Great stuff.

The imagery is always incredibly dense though. Their best use would have to be Coyote IMO, just because it's narrative driven.
