Yeah, seriously.  I guess that we, as lowly younger folk, can't possibly enjoy music which was created before we were born, or at least can't truly appreciate it. LOL

I guess I better stop reviewing pre-1988 albums, then.

That's troll potential! If only he developed and put some real competition against Walter!

I agree, Alex. I'd love to see him telling people they can't really enjoy classic prog bands because of their age. And perhaps even reporting reviews of people reviewing albums of before they were born. Shocked

HOLY SH*T COHEED AND CAMBRIA CONCERT WITH THE DEAR HUNTER AND CIRCA SURVIVE WAS EPIC! Cool

There was also a lot of moshing with Coheed, and I definitely got in on that. It was totally worth it though because I got pushed to the very front almost immediately and stayed there during their set. And I got an awesome Dear Hunter shirt too, so it was all totally worth it. Big smile

And now Rush concert tomorrow night! Thumbs Up

Which Cardiacs albums should I get from iTunes?  I really wanted to wait for an actual CD release, but I can't wait any longer...I need more Cardiacs!

Nope, not yet.

Alex, you must listen to at least the samples on their PA page.  They're pretty incredible, really.  "Pronk" as they call themselves, prog punk.

Actually, "pretty incredible" is an understatement based on this album.

Both are worth listening to if you like Cardiacs.

I thought that they didn't like being associated with prog.

Also, Tim Smith is a genius.

The band's broad combination of styles is sometimes referred to as Pronk (progressive punk), although group leader Tim Smith prefers the description "Psychedelic" or simply "Pop".[

In August 2010, Cardiacs guitarist Kavus Torabi confirmed in an interview podcast that Cardiacs will never play live again.[19]
