El Cielo is amazing.

I hope it gets better as I get farther in/more listens, then. LOL  So far it's been good, but not amazing.  Plus, it's got tough competition as for favorite new CD from today; Art Bears' Winter Songs/The World As It Is Today and Jon Anderson's Olias of Sunhillow.  I swear, someone from PA is going to that store and selling stuff.

I think the answer should be pretty obvious.
Also, now you've reminded me about the Art Bears Box. Me wants

I don't really want the box, unless the 2 (3?) discs of people covering their material are absolutely amazing.

Caio, I had to go to dinner but I fixed the links.

Yeah, he should still be allowed on the Archives, regardless of if he has a signed release.  Cloudkicker is here, after all.

As I said in the suggestion thread, I think the band might belong in the archives, just not in progressive metal. Approve

Err, apparently it's not all covers, but a mixture of covers, remixes and unreleased stuff.

As do I, and I know you said that your preliminary listenings made you think they weren't right for experimental/post, but you should really try listening to the album in its entirety.

That's what I was hoping/expecting...it's the "25 Songs" release, both albums on one disc.  I'll be listening it last - save the best for last, eh? Tongue

It's a grower, for sure. I'm jealous though, I'm sure they would be fantastic live.

I listened to the full albums. Ouch

But as I mentioned, I wasn't thinking about exp/post.

The thing is, that genre needs a revamp ASAP. It is pretty much a non-genre right now, a dumping ground for everything that is somewhat metal, but not fitting in the other genres . . . And even so bands that should be there eventually end up in tech/extreme . . . . Ouch

My bad, I didn't know you had tried them.
I agree, but the problem is that there are so many subgenres there that it would require a whole 'nother archives for (MMA) to try and break it down any further.  I could see them splitting it up a bit more though.

Unhappy

I have, however, heard a fairly large portion of the Prog Folk genre. LOL
