I get the strange feeling that if you listen to that you'll be preserving something.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Lou Reed, "Metal Machine Music". More musical than what I thought. Good stuff.

I'm excited about the new oneApprove I'd like it to be less like CwA and more like a  El Cielo/Leitmotif combination but it probably won't .

Keep in mind, though, that if you actually make it to side 4, you're "dumber than I am" (-Lou Reed). Wink

Its  some really awesome stuff, thanks for the recommendation Folly... It wasn't quite what I expected though, it's more on the modern hardcore side than old school hardcore punk... the production is so clean, riffs are heavier than your normal Minor Threat-like stuff and the vocals sound modern.

Yeah, it's hardcore in a different way (post-hardcore would apply, I guess).  Glad you liked it.

You might also like their album Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent.  It's a lot more straightforward and not quite as good, but it's still an excellent album.

Listened to it on 'my daily commute' today, then fancied giving it another spin when I got home! Smile
