Ytwseel, you couls check out the tunisian prog/metal scene. I have heard some North African bands snd they are cool with different modes and scales. also Tunisian fish soup is a divine dish. You should try it.

yes I have at least checked out Anouar Brahem from Tunisia, do you have any bands that you would recommend?
