. Micky is gone again... He had just come back home, when he got a call from his office, and off he went to an emergency call over 20 miles south of here (Dumfries, for those who know the area). And I am sure Pat remembers what I-95 is like at this time of day Cry

He was not happy about that, my poor sweetheart... However, he'll get a lot of nice overtime, which is always a good thing.

He probably just had a buddy call because he wanted to go on a nice long ride in the new truck.

And Opeth + Enslaved last night, was absolutley incredible. The best Opeth show I've seen (out of 3)

It may sound odd to you, Scott, but we really have no friends, and no social life. Micky is rather introverted, and I am happy to spend time on my own, or with him. And Pat is right... The situation around here at the rush hour is nothing short of dire.

I was just trying to get a little humor by playing on the stereotypes of guys and their cars, since yesterday you said that Micky was coming home with your new car. I guess it didn't sound as funny on the other side of the monitor as it did in my head.

Scott, I was just stating a fact, not trying to sound sad. I am OK with not having friends (except you on PA, of course!), since I have been often disappointed by them (to put it mildly). I also have a number of other issues to deal with, so I am quite happy with being on my own.

I expect that that'll change as the both of you get settled in to your new location and situation.

The friends thing I mean, not the being happy on your own. If that makes sense. But what do I know, my friends are pretty few and far between.
