I was expecting to have a hard time with the GG, but it's caught on rather quick with me! Drama is gret so far, I love the darkness brought on by a lack of Anderson. That's the only Gillan that I have, I was looking for CAT but they didn't have it. I don't really have an opinion of that one yet, more to come later. |

I just need to get in the right mindset and they'll all be reviewed within the day |

OK Computer but only if you give it five stars because it's the best album ever.
Kind of Blue would work, too. Edited by Pnoom! - February 11 2009 at 22:05 |

Will do.
Actually, that's why I have held off reviewing the good Tool stuff as ling as I have. I just know my reviews are going to sound too biased, so I'm still working out a way to where I can review them and explain well enough my reasons for worshiping them like I do.
OK Computer does tend to get the same treatment here, it seems. Since I'm just now beginning to discover Radiohead, I don't have to worry about that hapening with me. Expect a completely fair and balanced review from me-- and not the 'fair and balanced' that Foix News claims to be, either. Trulye fair and balanced.
Can't garauntee the same for 'Kind of Blue', though. It really is one of the greatest pieces of music I have heard in years.

Don't even worry about being fair and balanced just say "OK Computer is the best album ever and if you disagree I won't like you" (repeat until you have 50 words or whatever it is now) and then everyone will want to be liked by you so they'll agree that it's the best album ever and the world will become a great utopia where everyone listens to OK Computer a lot and there will be world piece and also Radiohead will finally get rich like they deserve.

^Yes, because they are paupers right now. Grammy-winning paupers, mind you, but paupers nonetheless.

After asking James, which is the easiest listen of the Henry Cow albums? I decided to get the lot. It will be around a week till they arrive. Also ordered Franco Battiato's Fetus and PollutionLast but not least Magma 's Udu Wudu and Attahk and for something morbid Jacula, Tardo Pede in Magiam.
Looking forward to their arrival Matt

Going on a little Umphrey's McGee binge here. Mantis and Local Band Does OK. Anchor Drops is on the way, but I see the last review one starred it. We'll see if that reviewer gets any credibility with me. Just kidding, tastes are tastes. I say believe the hype. If you like the streaming tracks that are posted here, I think it's safe to say you'll like this band.
I have a feeling I'll have collected the whole studio discography before the year is out. |
