Eh, well they're both double reed instruments. I guess you could say they sound similar, for example, in Gryphon.

Comus's second album isn't that bad, it's highly catchy and poppy though, but there's a lot of good music that is catchy and poppy. ;)

I think all of their releases are out of print, and often overpriced on the net.
 
Their early albums are available in two Archive set's though, but I think those are pretty much unavailable as well.
