I think Robert is losing his mind. He's liking some extreme metal albums.
Don't worry, he still doesn't like Koenjihyakkei.
At least it is an improvement.
There's nothing wrong with a bit of metal.
I like extreme metal in doses. My Dying Bride isn't that extreme either. Between the Buried in Me had some damn fine compositions. Mastodon has some great melodies.
Going-Gee-Hockey would be really good if the singers quit most of the time.

I need moar Magma.
Me too. I want more of the Mythes et Legendes DVDs specifically, they're great performances. I think the next Magma-related thing I'm going to buy, though, is the Offering set. I really like the one Offering song I've heard so far.
3. Any other metal album where cookie monster sings.
Fair enough. Believe me, I used to hate growls, but the more I listened to them, the more I accepted them as a sometimes necessary aesthetic element of the music. I still don't really prefer them, however on most tasteful occaisions a good growl is a kin to a cathartic experience for me.

That's how I felt too.
I still don't like the BTBAM-type growls though.
You can't teach an old dog new tricks and I am pretty certain this is one trick that will never be taught to me.

Scott, even though it'll mess up my bracket, I'll still be sure to root for Oakland on Friday.
I need to make sure that I get home from work by 2:55 on Friday so that I can watch the game. It should be over by 3:05 so that I can start working again, but hopefully Oakland will get to wear Cinderella's shoes this year.
