She once went on a freshman trip to Shanghai with the school marching band and boarded the plane with her clarinet only after securing written assurance from the principal that the trip would not count as an absence.

Oh,  now that's cheating.

I'd still hit it, though.

Pat. Hug

I'm glad you enjoyed it.  Now do you realise why I think Part the Second was a disappointment?

Morning. Wonder if this is going to be another AC/DC day for me. Perhaps not, since it's quite cloudy outside.

RE: last few pages
Mmmm, pointless drama over nothing, I love it

Mm... for the record, I've always heard that BG II is preferable because just about every damn thing in the game is used... there's no random wandering about (OK, there are a few random areas that appear after the Underdark where there's just about nothing)... plus, the characters/bad guys are a lot more compelling (to be fair, with the Tutu NPC mod, some of the original characters do become very strong... Kivan in particular), and the combat is obviously somewhat better arranged. On the minus side, mage battles get slightly crazy later on, especially in TOB.

Oh, BG 2 is a better game over all.  It's a huge game too.  I never even got to the Underdark.  I was still doing side quests in Athkatla.

But a lot of people prefer BG 1 because it's not so forced.

By the way, the expansion for BG 1 is great.

I don't mind so much that the party members don't have much to say because I take it in the spirit of Diablo and it's still surprisingly immersive. What bothers me is how many damn times I've had to hear Dynaheir say "This group shows promise exceptionale!" SHUT UP!

I should note, though, that one reason I am enjoying it so much is that I'm using a walkthrough. And I don't feel bad about it at all, I'm not going to wander around the whole area just to find the one subquest that's in the corner of the map.

I've just realised how important Dave Anderson is.

Not only was he in Amon Duul 2 and Hawkwind but he was briefly a member of VdGG and owns Foel Studio which is where VdGG recorded Present, I believe.  As well as pH's Over.

Yeah it seems like everyone is going out of his or her way to get offended at stuff. Very entertaining from a 3rd person perspective.

Finally, somebody else who understands being a drama whore.

In other news, that fat thread was just a ruse, I actually loathe fat people because I'm a Nazi.

I haven't heard it, but if my intention is to maximize drama... ;-)
