This Caravan song sounds really good! Now I´m defenitely getting high hopes for this album, if the continue on this route ánd create that epic they´ve been talking about, it ´ll defenitely be better than Snakes & Arrows - which was a very good album!

I've relistened Vapor Trails and I quite like the last four songs...it's coming piece by pieceTongue

Love reign on Earth

In an interview with Alex on some Guitar mag....he did mention there is a pretty good chance both Caravan and Brought Up to Believe will be re-recorded, now that they have had a chance to play them live.
And he does state that the title track is becoming somewhat of an epic piece.....I think it will be a good one for sure.

Here a good interview with the producer of the new album Nick Raskulinecz who gives some details on what type of sounds he wants from the new cd:

When you talk to Neil Peart, one of the greatest drummers of all time, what do you say to him about drums?

"Dude, I love your sh*t!" [laughs]

LOL

I've got my tickets for the second leg of the Time Machine tour.  They missed Detroit on the first leg, so I am pretty happy that they are coming back, although it would be nicer if they would finish up the new album before they came.

No kidding!  I went and saw them in Irvine (my first Rush show!) and I was just blown away!  The sound was just perfect since it was at an outdoor amphitheater and the videos that are played before and after the show are pretty funny and show their humorous side.  All around an awesome experience and by far my favorite concert I've ever been to. Big smile

More North American dates have been announced just this week for the Time Machine Tour.......Also posted is for each ticket sold, USD1 will be donated to the relief efforts in Haiti, and Rush will make a contribution also at the end of the tour....maybe this was announced before but I had not seen it.
Anyhow my goal is to see them again on June 28. Here is the link.......

I was at that show, and it was my first Rush show too! Big smile

Great concert. Although my seats were kind of crappy (far east side) but pretty awesome, nonetheless.

I'm going to see them again on June 20th at the Gibson Ampitheatre in LA Tongue

Will you be attending?

I'm boycotting Rush unless they come to Portland, OR (not just Clark County WA, but the actual state of Oregon).  They keep skipping out on us, by giving two shows in Washington state every tour.  I'm fed up with Neil's self-professed hatred of Oregon (read about it in "Ghost Rider"), and wish they would get over their prissy selves.
