I can remember most of that movie fairly well.
Me too. It's fun to listen to them speaking in German and trying to replace the blah-blah with what I remember them saying... I can fill the gaps pretty well.

Somebody uploaded the whole Jurassic Park on YouTube!
I started playing it in the background, just for the sake of the score and the sounds, which are both amazing. And sometimes I switch on it, for some of the iconic images.
See if you recognize the opening sound.
Haha, that was awesome! Is the song like that on the record, too?
Mhmm. It's the opening track.
That album is one of the most furiously heavy metal albums ever made, and it's amazing. Check it out.
It sounded exactly like you described it. Much more extreme than Crack The Skye, their only album that I know. What album is this?
BTW the only thing I would have changed at that intro: I wouldn't have cut the dino growl, and I would have made the band start over it.
It's heavily distorted, but if you listen closely, you can hear the girl scream "Tim!" right before it cuts.
This one is off of Remission, their first full length album. I'd highly recommend it, as it is the most solid metal album I've heard since Death's Symbolic. While there's a ton of raucous headbanging bliss, there's plenty of tracks to keep a proghead interested.
Personally, I think that this album and Crack the Skye are their very best, but my favorite album is Blood Mountain. Leviathan is the most popular among the non-prog metalheads, and in many circles is held as the best metal album of the past decade. You honestly can't go wrong with any of Mastodon's four studio albums as there is soooooo much good stuff there.

I distinctly remember it being in English.
Yeah, as I said, this is the German version It probably wouldn't have escaped takedown notices if It had been the original version. Still I am surprised it wasn't brought down.

That's true, although I know my sister has watched a lot of movies on Youtube.

Back on the topic of high school research papers - for my...sophomore year, I think, history class, we had to write a paper on a historical event/string of events of our choice (US only). I chose space exploration, and ended up making my paper almost twice the required length, brought in extra materials to show the class, etc...got the highest grade out of anyone in the class for that one, even though we weren't supposed to go more than like two pages over the required length without losing points. Mine was almost 10 pages over and I got something like a 99.9% on the paper.

That reminded me of a English Poetry paper I did back in High School, we were only supposed to write 1000 words maximum, mine was 3,000 lol.

I think the best I've done on a high school paper was last year. We were required to write a paper in physics on any experimental, theoretical, or controversial physics topic. We needed 4 pages minimum, I wrote a 12 page thesis on aether theories and a universal Theory of One. I got an A+ on it
What's the most you've ever written for a school paper, required or gone over the page limit?

Yeah, if I actually enjoy what I'm writing about I usually end up putting a ton of effort into it. Same thing happened with my music class last semester, I put more time into it than all my other classes combined I think.

I believe that paper on the space program was around 24-25 pages.
