How doesn't it? The yahoo article actually goes further and asserts that there was a spy on the inside (so many spontaneous demonstrations have spies organized). And you realize that Drudge just links articles from popular news sites?

Consumers just don't have the money to spend like they used to since none of them have jobs. It's the investors that are sitting on capital waiting for a better time to take a chance with it.

And the ones who do have money to spend are cutting back on big-ticket items like cars and homes and putting it toward smaller luxury items, such as new smartphones.
