I've been loving the Midnight Oil lately. Maybe cause i'm in Australia.

But it sucked to find out that Peter Garrett has become a sellout politician Ouch

Quite right. The winter has been mild and inconsistent, I just need need the snow and bitter cold to arrive!
Though I did spin some Ashes Against the Grain recently. mmmmmmmmmmmmmyeah

Yes need to listen to both albums later.

I don't really know much about his career since he entered politics but I keep hearing that. Which sucks. He had such vitriol before.

The vocals on Merci are terrible and some of the more recent stuff (not Emehntehtt-Re) is not that great either.  The studio version of Kontarkosz is a bit average in terms of vocals as well.

But otherwise, they're awesome.  Plus when Vander goes off on one, I love it.  Yoshi going off on one with Koenjihyakkei has a similar affect too.

I was listening to Agalloch earlier in the car.  Awesome.

Maybe it was me that somehow negated everyone else's like for them.  Oooh.

The new Alcest isn't bad.

And there's already Magma in rap (the album is pretty good btw)

I see?
Well hey if Al Gore didn't create global warming, like he did the internet, there'd be no issue! He just had to make it all about him!

See, I like The Mantle so much I kind of forget about the others, so try to show them some love. Forgot just how good Ashes is, as well as Pale Folklore.

That Death Grips tune is f**king terrible.  Sorry.

Plus that's De Futura Hiroshima's bass riff... which I'd not really call a Magma tune as such.  Yes it was on a Magma album and yes it's been played live by Magma but I'd rather call it a Jannick Top tune myself.

Plus that's a terrible sample of it too.  I actually prefer whatever that other sample is, in that tune.

I've only heard The Mantle and Ashes and preferred The Mantle. But Ashes is amazing.
