@Jon: There are tons of stuff you need to kear before making your list. Wink BTW I think the new Yugen might be the best avant-prog album of the year, I need to give it more listens to make up my mind. And we'll have to wait a bit to hear the new Jean Louis (James was quite pleased).

To answer the question, I didn't hear Electric Orange. Are they the band sharing a free live album? I remember you promoting that album earlier this year.

Yeah, their live album is available somewhere on their website.  I'm listening to a track from their new one (Krautrock from Hell LOL) and it's pretty different from that, but still very good so far.

Here's the live one, if you're interested:
http://www.electric-orange.com/eo/unterw.htm

Unfortunately you have to d/l each track individually, but it's worth it IMO.

I downloaded and listened back then, and I remember not being very enthusiastic. I'll probably give it another listen to see if I should bother with the new one. Smile

Like I said, the new one's different, more music oriented than atmosphere oriented.  Here's the track I'm listening to on YT:

Thanks Jon, I bookmarked them for tomorrow morning. Indeed, I remember I was not liking the spacey synth soundscapes, so what you say is good news.

Just 'cause they aren't here now doesn't mean they'll ever be. Tongue
