The spoken section Blaise Bailey Finnegan III, just dear God that's great stuff.

I'm loving GY!BE and Sigur Ros right now... I bought Takk... from SR, and F#A#Infinity and Lift Your Skinny... From GY!BE, and all three are great!

Has anybody here listened to The American Dollar?

Henry already told me, but f**k, I'm still kinda shocked. I only got into them 2 months ago, great band and a wicked drummer.

RIP.

Holy sh*t that's terrible. He was an amazing drummer and a really down to Earth guy from talking to him after the gig.

RIP

I bought the knew Pelican today, but I also got a Vivaldi, John Cage, and Modest Mouse album so it'll probably be the last thing I listen to today.

What Modest Mouse album? It better be The Moon & Antarctica, unless you already have that.

It's The Moon & Antarctica. I finally got around and listened to numerous suggestions to buy it. It's awesome in every possible way. Or at least it is on the first listen, but I only expect it to get more enjoyable.

Damn that's horrible. I'm not the biggest Maserati fan, but i remember thinking that dude had great skill.

Indeed, Mastodon did kick ass Wink Big smile

It was nice to see some improv. here and there from Mastodon, and although i'm not into long aimless solo's, it was nice to see Brent get excited about the music;. also, i thought the beautiful fractal imagery they had set up behind them was amazing.

I don't like mud sling about musicians in general so i won't even comment on Converge and High on Fire, and since Mastodon was opening for Dethklok, i wasn't forced to stand through Dethklok.  Anyways, i was very happy, although the Isis/Pelican concert is still my fav. concert that i've been been to yet.
