Of course sometimes advanced review copies do go out and there are sometimes leaked copies. I did notice a review at another site, but then when checking a little later the page was not available. That said, I then found the cached version: CLICK

While both reviews come under different names, I noticed that both reviews start in a similar fashion, with the one at PA being "Here it is! The long awaited new Yes album is very good." And the one at Sonic Perspectives starting with "Here it is, friends: the long-awaited twenty-second studio album from Yes." Coincidence maybe, but it just got me wondering. It does look like Sonic Perspectives may have pulled their review.

I also notice that the Yes album has various ratings:

EDIT: I haven't time to properly research now, but will raise this with admin. It's suspicious, and as said it looks like that other site pulled its review. Hopefully one of the raters will see this and weigh in.

I thought we had a policy to not accept reviews before the official release date, or am I wrong?

Looking at Pepe Castello ratings, I have the impression that he just didn't read the disclaimers. There's a lot of 5 stars, some 1-star and very few in the middle. Anyway I have noticed that all the Camel albums that he rated are 5-stars, but he avoided rating The Single Factor, so he must have listened to the albums that he rated.

This is just a totally negative review - doesn't seem to have one positive thing to say. Probably doesn't violate any of our standards, but maybe would have been better just to give a rating without a review?

A rude review indeed, i guess some people just can't help it or something.

Maybe one of the admins should read it and decide if it's worth staying or not.

Why just pick on Harry Bosch? If you bag his review, you should also bag the review of Prog Reviewer hdfisch, which is equally negative. Negative reviews tell us something about the music - why it is so bad (pop drivel in this case). Ratings don't.

I don't think it's fair to delete negative reviews if they don't violate any of the posted standards.

it's not just negative, I wrote a couple of negative reviews. I guess I was annoyed by those albums and wrote a couple of paragraphs to vent.

But that review is rather rude, that is the problem. There is a difference.
