Because when you hit 18 you will have enough drinking experience to NOT let yourself do sh*t that will get you arrested or incredibly embarassed.

I had loads of fun at the party (more than I can remember), whether or not it was because I was durnk I'm not sure. I did have a f**king sh*tton more confidence though and actually talked to people and met a load of people which I can almost certainly say wouldn't have had happened.
