Not a big (modern) PT fan?

No, I feel their music is going more and more downhill every album.  And Blackfield? fuhgettaboutit.

Yep, apparently coming out this summer sometime, with Jay Lane back on drums.

"In interviews conducted backstage at the Soundwave Festival in March 2011, Claypool said of the new Primus album "we've recorded it, we just need to polish it", and that the release date "should be around May or so".[17] He also described the new material as being "very reminiscent of Frizzle Fry".[18]"

I'm excited.

Although Jay Lane will be interesting to hear on a new album.  And Les' solo stuff has been getting crazier and crazier every release.

FoaBP was great, including Nil Recurring.
The Incident wasn't as good imo, but i wouldn't call it a bad album.

I agree though, Fear of a Blank Facebook Page was better than Deadwing.  Still pretty average though.

I liked Deadwing. Modern rock with slight prog leanings sounded nice to me.

Tastes change.  I was naive back then.  I used to enjoy that album.  I've heard it sense and I hate it.

No Herb and no Brain.  I love the drumming on the Sausage album (Jay Lane) and the Frog Brigade stuff (also Lane) so I'm sure he'll do great on the album.
