I'm in love with someone I may never talk to again and cannot meet in person for years. I'm dealing with it as well as I can and I know it's not the right time in my life to be concerned with it. It occasionally bugs me, but I still manage to function (somewhat surprisingly). That's good though. I'm listening to Lateralus for the first time in MONTHS. I've only heard it once too.

Wilson's solo album is good so far. My only regret is that it hasn't brought much new to the table yet. Otherwise think melodic and mellow Wilson with bits and pieces of metal, psychedelic, and noise from all his other projects.

Sounds good to me. I'll have to hear it one of these days.

I'll pick that up at some point.

These last 3 songs on here have had a lot of noise before returning to mellow. Guess I spoke too soon.

I'm in love with my former loves friends friend I couldn't stop thinking of her for days after i met her!
|
I know what you mean there. I couldn't ever stop thinking about the whole situation; I still can't now.
Glad to hear it's going well with you though.
|
Well my love is fading a bit now, luckily. Almost drove me nuts a few days ago And that's good because if you're too much in love, you often expect too much of the situation. Now i can play it cool again She seems to like me, though. One way or another. But i doubt that she's in love with me. Your situation sounds alot more painful than mine. Semms like love that's just going to waste...

Depends on how you look at it, yeah. I always try to remain an optimistic realist when it comes to my life, so I just try not to concern myself heavily in the whole matter for the temporary duration. There's no point worrying about it now; I can't do anything more than what I've done, so there's also no point in making my current life any less enjoyable than it would be anyway. I realize that, so I deal with it. It'll work out someday, or it won't. For the moment, it doesn't matter. Still, it overwhelms me from time to time, but I manage.

I try to apply this to everything in my life - still get anxious about things sometimes, but still very helpful in not worrying too much.

Yeah, that's my philosophy. Life's too short to make it anything other than enjoyable.

Yeah... She's 2 years younger than me and cute as hell... And "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", "Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite", "When i'm 64", "All Together now", "Within you Without you" & "Tomorrow Never Knows" reminds me of her... Aaah...

What if I told you nearly every song I listened to ever reminded me of the person I love? I can't ignore the impact she has made on my life, yet I can't do anything about it. C'est la vie. This is one of the few albums that doesn't spark any memories.... Not sure what I think about it yet. It's not bad.

How about "Master of Reality" by Black Sabbath? ELP's debut? Uriah Heep's "Magicians Birthday"? Beatles "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band"? Led Zeppelin's Debut? VDGG's "H to He"? Jethro Tull's "This Was"?

Possibly one of the first 3. Admittedly, I never was much of a Beatles fan; I don't even own any of their albums. I think I'm going to head out soon though for a bit. I might do one of those when I return later tonight.

Some of those albums should never be sold, like Can and VdGG.
