They have a ton of vinys too, which they sell from anywhere from $1 each to $8 or $9 for the more rare albums in their collection. They have some really nice prog within their vinyl that I wouldn't mind picking up just to have.

I have accumulated many larger fat cells along the way too. Could be slightly related to sitting on my butt while listening to all this music. But mostly it is from my Big Mac and Fries vice.

Most of my vinyl collection belongs to my parents, but they no longer listen to it. I can't play any of it, but for collectors like me, it is nice to have. I especially treasure my Floyd vinyls.

I bought 4 vinyls this summer to play on my record player. The first one played fine, but the record player died on the second one. I've thought about buying one of those record players that you can play and record to MP3s. But my vinyl collection is relatively small so it is not really worth it. It would be cheaper to re-buy everything on CDs, especially since I already have for a number of them.

I'm thinking of doing a chronological Floyd marathon on Sunday. Starting at Piper through to The Division Bell.

Ok, theoretical situation. Zombies invade your house (think Shaun of the Dead) and the only way to defeat them is to throw 5 vinyls at them. Which do you pick? (Assume you have every vinyl ever made) For me it would be. 1. ELP: Love Beach 2. Anything by Nickelback 3. Face Value: Phil Collins 4. Anything labelled as "Crunkcore" 5. Entire Basshunter Discography

1. Fantomas - Delirium Cordia. This should be enough to freak even zombies out so they don't come back.
