Bit of casual sexism here folks.

I don't think so. one can of course try to deny that there are psychological differences between men and women, but I am certain that this would be way off the mark. and one of those differences is that very few men care for fashion. of course there are exceptions, but I never denied that
Woah. You just changed your point. Whether men care about fashion or not was not what you said as can be clearly seen  above.

the point was that women are more willing to see fashion as a form of art. are you going to tell me that this has nothing to do with being interested in it?

people who are not into modern classical music often complain that they can not see how this is "music". the first abstract paintings were often regarded as not being art at all, but mostly by people who certainly were no experts on that. rock music was, and by some people still is, considered to be nothing but noise", but certainly not by people who were or are interested in it. I could make this list a lot longer, but I hope you see what I mean

First. This is not the place for this argument. You make a boldly sexist statement and then change your stance slightly and then say that the first has a correlation to the latter. I totally disagree. But even if I agree, this..

is obviously sexist.

Now..was he also German or not???

I don't know what you call "sexist". is pointing out a difference between the sexes automatically"sexist"? should we deny these differences instead?

I really don't see your problem. I certainly did not imply that it is "bad" to not think of fashion of an art form. I am even willing to ridicule my own sex for regarding it as an art form. so why does this bother you at all?

or are you trying to tell me "that's not true; the majority of men do regard fashion as an art form"?
