What's been happening bro anyway?
Man, I wish my mother was going back to the Philippines soon, then I could tell her to like meet you and then like, I could send you a post card and my mother could personally hand it too you or something:)
She usually goes every 3-4 years, she might go back next year of the year after.
Unless I can be sure I can get access to a guitar everyday on a holiday, I feel paranoid about overseas vacations.
I would love to come man, just gotta know if I got a guitar to play everyday or not:P

That's a really great idea. Clap
If she's staying anywhere within or near Manila, I can meet her. But it's better if you come with her. I have a guitar, i can bring it for you, wherever you guys are going to stay. I'd love to meet you. That would be so cool!

If you're not going with her though, maybe I can hand her something from me to you.Big%20smile

Well, I'll see how it pans out.
My mother is actually from Payo City I think it's called, and she used to live in Manila actually. I believe last time she went, she stayed with relatives in Manila.
She might go back in the next year or two, because her mother (whom I've never really met beforeUnhappy) died last week, so perhaps she will go and visit her grave site or something.
Seriously, pretty much as long as I know I can get to a guitar everyday, I'd be sure to go with her next time she goes to the Philippines.

Height 185 cms, I weight about 68kgs.
Usually, when I go to a gig for example. like when I went to see Dream Theater and Iron Maiden, I got the extra large size.
That fit pretty well.

I see.
I think the city is "Baguio", as we don't have a city named Payo.Smile
It's around 100 kms up North of Manila. 4-5 hours worth of drive.
You can hand carry your guitar I believe. The airlines won't charge you for that.

Come here and get your "Job For a Cowboy" shirt for free. It's on me! Promise.
Well if you don't like that one, you can choose from dozens of designs. The store that I go to have dozens to choose from. They have Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Tool, DT, lots of Iron Maiden tees, and others.

I don't mind JFAC, but not my favorite band admittedly.
I would love a Nevermore shirt, surprisingly I don't have one yet.
So far, I've got the Pantera CFH shirt, Iron Maidens recent world tour shirt, Chaos in Motion Tour shirt.

I think they have Dreaming Neon Black as a print. I'll check with them tomorrow, it's my day off from work, so I pretty much have the time to go there. I'll probably post some pics here. Aside from shirts, they sell metal CDs. I think the owner imports those from Thailand. It's cheaper and accessible from here. Just last week I bought Opeth's Wtershed from them, and reserved 3 more which includes Winds' Prominence and Demise, Blotted Science and Porcupine Tree's In Absentia.

I've already got Prominence and Demise incidentally. An excellent album IMO.
Metal CDs, as in, how big is the range? Do they go more underground than usual stores?

Winds are awesome!

Well, I think so, they have stuffs that I've never heard of. They specialize in Thrash and Death. A customer may also opt to order CDs they don't have on their racks. Just pay a minimal amount of Pesos as downpayment, wait for a month and voila! They have tons on sale I tell you!

I think at least half my mother's family still live in the Philippines.
