I really like Enchant; they are a really good heavy prog/prog metal band. Their Live At Last DVD is pretty good. However, the sound track is off slightly from the picture track so if you watch it too closely it is hard on the brain, since the moving lips don't match the words. I'm not sure if this is poor mixing or a case of being filmed from further away and thus the speed of sound causes it to be off.

Now time for a nice little concept album for the Shred Room. I'm quite certain that Jared will approve.

OK, so it's more zeuhl than RIO/Avant but you're not complaining.

Just outstanding zeuhl-flavored jazzy goodness. It's on emusic if you want to give some it a try, maybe download the track "Sifra" or "Dailn" (the former is pretty long so good value for your download).

Ahem. Jazzy goodness works for me; I could do without the crazy made-up Zeuhl language, but the jazzy goodness works for me.

This doesn't have much in the way of vocals, but it can get a bit weird. Still, give it a try if you'd like, look for the tracks I suggested for Melissa. BTW Scott I added you as a friend on emusic.

...can't believe I missed it...
I tell you what, Scott...just when I thought I'd mislaid my 'feminine side', I found that the last track, Revelations, brings a lump to my throat, every time I hear it...utterly marvellous stuff...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Mmm, sounds good. When my downloads refresh I'll be all over it! Well, I shall be off now for a while but may be back later... have a nice evening gents. (Er, and any ladies who may be lurking... )

Oh no Jared, not you too. Pat was revealing his 'feminine side' earlier; but his was in the form of a print dress and high heels.

Jared, Are you familiar with the band Event? I am listening to their debut album Electric Skies and it is pretty good. They are listed under crossover prog, but I would think that at least with this album that they would be more oriented towards Heavy Prog or possibly even Prog Metal.
Here is a link to their MySpace page, in case you are interested.

Jared, As you told me previously, this isn't your favorite from Dreamscape, but I'm sure you wouldn't mind listening to these tunes in the Shred Room.

900 point gain in the Dow today. It appears that I can turn in my barrel and get a shirt or 2 back. We could use a string of days like that again.
