Sounds like a casual use, Harry.  I consider "abuse" when the stuff starts to dominate your life and kills all other aspects.

And considering what kind of person Mr. Whitehead is, I'm sure you can imagine the response. He somewhat angrily tried to prove to her how illogical it was but she basically denied what he was saying out loud. Granted this is also the person who told me I'm going to hell because I'm not a die-hard Baptist like her.
