I wasn't question that it made you "more function" in those terms. Indeed, Asperger's Syndrome people tend to have on average, far better abilities for systemizing than "normal" people and that leads to them being happier being reclusive and getting stuff like homework and the like done more quickly. You would still be able to hold a job and be productive in society If indeed you have Asperger's well.... what I mean by "not as functioning" was being able to go out into the world and be able to truly communicate with people rather than just behind a computer where you don't have to face anyone. Honestly, it sounds like if you even did have Asperger's it would be particularly mild anyway. A true, serious case of Asperger's does quite literally make someone less able to function overall, because they become frequently stressed out over things that most people are able to ignore, they are overwhelmed far too easily, and they can get into a lot of trouble with a lot of people due to not being able to pick up on non verbal cues someone like myself takes for granted.

I'd like to move there. Cherry Hill may have a reputation for being rich, but the schools are complete crap.

Good school district, one of the top public schools in suburban Philadelphia. That's why we got a house here. I live about a minute from the high school and the elementary school that my kids will go to.

I always feel awkward in social situations. I'm infinitely more talkative over the internet than I am in person, which is why I prefer it for social interactions. I just don't like being around people, in general. It makes me feel uncomfortable.
Honestly, it sounds like if you even did have Asperger's it would be particularly mild anyway.
Probably. Doesn't matter.
I'm awful at picking up on non-verbal cues sometimes. Sure, I'm not an absolute social disaster, but... I don't know. And sometimes people just don't understand what I'm saying and vice versa.
And, I do have an innate tendency to become angry or stressed in situations when something goes wrong. It was worse when I was younger; I've had panic attacks twice in my life. However, I've grown to be better at that and I'm pretty disciplined with my emotions. My mom has told me before (and others) though, that I "care about things that most people don't care about and don't care about things that most people care about".
However, I don't care if I have it or not. I hate categories and it doesn't make any difference in my life. I'm fully content the way I am and I'm fully functional.

It's hard, but not because of what we're learning. They don't prepare us well because they go at slow paces but then the tests are out of our reach. Hardly anyone gets A's (usually only a few per class). Kids are extremely snobby and think they don't need to do anything. They think that since their parents are rich they can just rely off of them for the rest of their lives. They have no respect for anything and expect people to clean up after them. The building itself is awful and falling apart.
