That is really not good. It's really hard to tell though. One thing I am sure of, though, is that loud sounds that used to bother me but nobody else (like the speakers being too loud at someplace that is not a rock concert or the scanner doing its epic I AM UPSET beep at work) don't bother me any more, but I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Also, sound nerds: what is a good example of digital clipping? I've been bothering to do a little bit more reading about compression because of the work radio, but nobody wants to have a five second ThisIsWhatWeAreComplainingAbout.wav on their website.

I don't know a good example.  Although "clipping", i.e. hard limiting amplitude and audio compression are two different things.
Yeah, I know, but they are related, and I think it was the clipping that was bothering me so much about the drumbeats at work. But I wasn't aware of that so I thought I just couldn't stand how lazy it was.

Oh, I agree 100%. I tried to air-keyboard Cometa Rossa when I was listening to it. My hands don't work like that.

The piano playing on "Nervi Scoperti" is unfathomable.

I've listened to them so much I convinced myself they're actually RIO.  LOL

Lol, you have to!

I don't have kids, but I teach primary, so not only do I have to listen to them often, I also have to sing them and come up with moves for them. The weird thing is that I never listened to that kind of music when I was a kid. Twisted Sisters were my Wiggles...Big smile

I love that track, and that whole album.

Which, Drip Drip or Epitaph?

I like In the Court, but it's my least favorite KC album, as much as I'm a KC fanboy. Embarrassed

I much prefer First Utterance.

At the very least, you need Crac! and Caution Radiation Area.

Really need Are(A)zione as well.

Itchycock is better than their '80s output.

It's all about LTiA though.

Interesting, I had been meaning to check his work out.

I have Enigmatic Ocean on vinyl, it's great.

The three I'm selling are 80s stuff he did which, while not bad, I haven't cared to listen to in ages and doubt I will ever again.
