They've actually been slightly ahead for a while, though they're only 3 tracks apart. They tend to switch back and forth; I can see Magma being ahead in the long run. It's really only because I've been familiar with the Ozrics for quite a bit longer than I have with Magma.

I love them both a whole lot, however.

It's okay when there is perhaps one thread about it, but when every newbie feels the need to post "ZOMG MELLOTRONTASTIC", it quite literally makes me angry. The problem is, it's not deliberate either, but whenever I hear a mellotron, it brings up associations with those threads, and I start feeling anxious and angryConfused

Images and Words.
Way too easy.

I'm 99 per cent sure their next studio album will be crap.

I can understand that the threads get annoying, but I don't let it get to me. I don't see a point in it. I don't care if everyone else in the world loved or hated mellotrons, I'd still like them.

Scenes from a Memory > Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence > Images and Words

Those are definitely their peaks.

If anything it might mean the opposite. There are better things to be concerned about; other people most of the time just distract you from your life. My expectations are extremely high.

That's a decent album, but they have better. They also definitely have worse.

Oh.

I'm starting to grow out of DT myself. Haven't listened to them in a while. They're still decent/good, but I mainly listen to just those 3 albums whenever I do. I often have other bands I want to hear first anymore.

When Dream And Day UniteStarStarStarStarStar
Images and WordsStarStarStarStarStar
AwakeStarStarStarStar1/2
Falling Into InfinityStarStarStar
Scenes From a MemoryStarStarStarStarStar
Six Degrees, to be honest, some of the more poppy songs kinda let it down so onlyStarStarStarStar
Train Of ThoughStarStarStarStarStar my 3rd favorite behind SFAM and I&W.
OctavariumStarStar if it wasn't for the fact the first and last songs combined make up a fairly big chunk of the album, I would give it 1 star for the crappiness in between
Systematic Chaos StarStar1/2.

Yeah, I gave it 3 stars for my review, but I've changed my mind because I realized how little I ever listen to that album.
