Prog/power hardly being a fave prog metal sub genre of mine.
I can barely listen to much power metal, although some prog/power is okay in my book.

For me, over the last few months, oddly I've gotten more into punk, but not punk as in, the usual radio pop punk, I mean post punk and post hardcore. Some post hardcore bands even draw inspiration from avant garde stuff and prog rock, so that's kinda cool.
I go through period of less and more metal listening, but at heart I'll always dig metal, and can never bear to stop listening to it for more than a few days.

I like many Swedish bands but they're not one of them.  Yuck!

I like to call them neo metal.  Being they sound like a neo prog band, only metally.
