^ Nice songs, especially the first one "Donna Donna." I would hardly characterize them as "crap"! But then again I'm generally okay with syrupy ballads done tastefully. Not prog by any stretch, but still lovely.

I have to admit, Jim/AEP, I was working on the theory that Pierre's brain was born in a duck's body, with Italian RPI actually spliced into his very DNA!

Are we finally onto your secret, Pierre?!

Just sharing this beautiful little song by my beloved Banco. From Canto Di Primavera.

Great track, Sagi! Heh, you seem like me, sometimes I listen to a track and think `Damn, EVERYONE needs to hear this track NOW' lol!

Sagi, just the other day I was listening to that wnderful `Triade' album, and as much as I love the instrumental first half, it's that run of vocal pieces that lifts if even higher. By the time I was at about the final two tracks, I was pretty much about to say in my office `Damn, people, don't you hear how amazing this is?!'

I'm sure a few would just turn up their nose and ignorantly say `Urh, he's playing that classical music again' lol!

^ Great way to put it man, one of the few pieces where every single note is simply essential. Not exaggerating.

Yep. The right number of notes : that's the challenge of music. LampThe italians are good for that,
especially in the genre often too talkative of progressive music.

I have to admit, Banco lost it after Io Sono Nato Libero.  "Come in Un'Ultima Scena" was the last gasp and the instrumental album that followed did nothing for me.  But the clip from Canto di Primavera sounds interesting!

Same for me. The first three albums are the foundations of the RPI pyramid. There's not many bands who have chained three albums of such quality.

Hey guys, I just reviewed this lovely album! To be honest, I probably make it sound heaps more exciting than it is, but I think it's a great little work! I just wanted to give it a bit of attention and exposure! I picked up the CD very cheap reissue off Ebay a few weeks ago.

Yep, seems like a good find Mike, I'd love to hear something out of it.

Oh... and about Banco, I would also consider their first three as the heart of the band, but I would never say they lost it after Io Sono...
I would take their 1975-1980 albums over the same period Genesis albums any day, but of course this is just me.

Guys, I'll try and find some way so you can hear some of it.

I'd even planned to show you the vendor on Ebay who had it in stock for a very affordable price, but he's either shut his account down or just currently has no items for sale/auction, which is strange, because a week or ago he had a couple of hundred.

It didn't appear to be a bootleg version, you can usually spot them easily.

The Video to the new track Imago Mundi can be found here:

Rather strange modern track (with drum machine?)
