I find that quite funny.

Because I lack the dexterity and patience to play anything remotely difficult or technical, most of the stuff I play is just a sort dark ambient experimental rubbish.

Therefore destroying all my gear (Guitar, Bass, assorted household appliances) on stage would probably make the set sound better.

Don't people make their own guitars if they are going to destroy them?

???

I don't actually destroy my gear, I just have a habit of making things not work when they are supposed to. Anyway, I don't play enough to really care.

I know what you meant, but I have read that Frith would build his own guitars if he was going to ruin them, for example if he wants to drill a hole in it on stage.

That's pretty hardcore.

Anyway, I'm saving for a new Bass/Amp combo. Seeing as I can't really play the guitar (Long story - I broke my wrist/arm a few years ago, and my dexterity is limited enough to make playing annoyingly more difficult than it already is) I figure I may as well focus on bass.

don't like that... I really wonder why do famous people destroy some excellent instruments... it would be better to gift them to poor people, like me, that I have to deal with different tunnings in just one guitar.. don't you think...??? now... sometimes I have the will to destroy the instruments when I'm playing something very rushy.. and the instrument is not mine... but you know... i won't doing it...!!!

Maybe I should hear some of that, maybe I would be more interested in Yes.

I doubt any studio albums will come close to Relayer/TFTO for me, but I need some live material.

I don't know if I could play guitar or bass, it hurts just to play rock band for 10 minutes.

Yeah, but if there is a game in the house I will eventually play it. I even tried my sister's That's so Raven game once.

Latest in music appreciation (not the thread on the forum, just talking to myself now):

Joanna Newsom's newest is great, I feel it gets a full score for creativity, especially after three years and high expectations as a follow-up to an already flawless album. Basically I declare the first CD excellent, but I'm still not sure how I fully feel about the other two.

And just so you know, I don't think you are the person with the worst taste here. WalterDigsTunes is the worst, even though he's a troll, and I can think of at least five prog reviewers who are much worse. <3

Rock Band is much harder for me than playing piano.

Why would Walter's taste be the worst? I don't think he'd make a bad conversation partner for anything regarding the music he actually likes.

OK then... I really don't enjoy the games "play it like your'e playing" such as rock band or all the wii concept of doing a sport but not doing it... if I have to make excersice I go out side and do it... if I want to play I only want to move my fingers as I am lay down in the couch... so...

Also, Joanna's picture on last.fm is changed every 3 minutes...

I don't think anyone here has bad taste. Maybe limited, but not bad.

Yes, but our tastes are so different that my tastes are pretty close to being the worst from your viewpoint.  By the way, my use of the word "worst" was a poor choice, as I should rather have said "most different from my own tastes"
