And I thought all the Muse like songs DT have done are just some of the worst songs they have ever written quite frankly.
There is that Muse type song from Octavarium, so boring to listen to and Prophets of War was just a terrible song in general IMO.

If I want Muse, I'll listen to Muse, not Dream Theater's attempt at Muse.

I'm a Muse fan too, but I don't see it that way. If you see it as Dream Theater's attempt at Muse, you will inevitably be disappointed. If you take it as a Dream Theater song or come into it with no preconceptions, they're heavily enjoyable songs (particularly Prophets). I like Never Enough too, but it's not quite as good.

The French lyrics on this album which make little sense to me, make more sense to me than any DT lyrics.

I do hear some Muse influence, but it would easily be my favorite Muse song, since it beats anything they've written, IMO. It definitely has a DT edge to it. I do like Muse though. And yes, Ministry is one of the best things they've ever written. It's great! Petrucci is so emotional. Ministry is not bad, but I barely listen to it nowadays. Petrucci is good too, but I honestly always wish they had gotten some other guitar player from the start.

Petrucci fits perfectly; I think he's fine.
