Awesome! I have no idea how they got knocked back from post-rock in the first place.

Yeah, that's odd. And they're in Post Rock...

I'm going to see them live on April 2nd

Yeah, that was odd in the first place. Good thing they are here though.

I've hated The Beatles for years. Only now am I beginning to enjoy some of the songs.

It also seems that my disdain for alot of popular music is gradually fading away. Well, the stuff that isn't obviously processed sh*t.

Well, The Beatles are a good pop band, even if I don't want to hear them very much.

I know what you mean.

I'm not really sure what I'm in the mood for right now. It's just been interesting that lately I've been getting into bands that years ago I would have dismissed as too poppy (and ironically, also as too dissonant).

Lately I've been exploring music in the opposite direction. LOL Not on purpose, I just happen to like it.

I've pretty much gotten to the point after 5 years where I'll listen to nearly anything.

The second and third albums by Ex-Wise Heads (Colin Edwin’s side-project with ex-Henry Cow win and reed player, Geoff Leigh) are now available as free downloads. Colin offers some comments about this over on his Myspace page blog.

You can get Time And Emotion Study (2003) here and Holding Up The Sky (2006) on this page.

From PT's homepage. Thought that might interest some of you guize.

Knew about this last week 'cause Geoff Leigh posted it in his status update.  Still haven't gotten around to downloading them yet though.
