Save for Mari Makinami, the Rebuild series has been quite excellent so far. The battles with Ramiel and Zeruel were sooooo epic.

I liked that. I'd much rather have Shinji pair with Rei than Asuka. Am I the only one who was extremely frustrated when Rei blew herself up right when she realized she loved Shinji in Ep. 23? I hate to sound like a crazy fangirl who obsesses over anime relationships, but FUUUUUUUUUUUU-
i was looking for a wallpaper i saw once of shinji in the middle of rei and asuka in a bed smoking a cigar with the legend "it was bound to happen"
i wonder what would happen in the 3.0 if they are both "death"

I don't know. I heard that Hideaki Anno is changing the ending to the series in Rebuild; I wonder how that's going to work out. Personally, I thought the original ending (EoE and EoTV together) was perfect.
