1. In the Court of the Crimson King(mostly because of 21st Century Schitzoid Man) maybe the definitive progressive rock song! One of the few times Fripp's(he's no Pinhas!) noodlings made sense.
2. Lark's Tongue In Aspic
3. Red
Starless and Bible Black being a great live album
Discipline being the best of later day KC
the rest being pretty hit & miss IMO!
Fripp's best albums?

2. Another Green World(Brian Eno)

No leader? That's simply false, like saying World War ll never happened.
Most of his ideas have failed? You mean his innumerable contributions to modern music, Crimson, great solo albums and the RFSQ?
Not a rock god? Sure, and John Coltrane didn't really contribute much to modern jazz...right?
