Never really got In Absentia as a whole. It has it's moments but it's pretty weak as a whole album.

Don't you get tired of winning, anyways? LOL

BTW, I loved that "little" fight they had tonight when Teixera was hit by a pitch.

Yeah, though there is some backstory...I was bitching about it in da baseball thread.
Basically: He got thrown at because it's the Yankees the coach voiced his opinion (god forbid)
You gotta admit though, that was directly at the head. Im all for sending a clunker sometimes but the head????
That aint cool.

I can hate all I want. Every single Porcupine Tree album until In Absentia bores me to tears.

It's a Friday night after an incredibly long week and I'm in need of relaxation. Geek

damn u avant. You hate all the stuff everyone else likes, but really like IA?
Though it's a good album, I find it funny because I know you like emotionality in the music and IA feels lifeless to meLOL

Yes they were. It was good bench, bullpen and coach clearing fight!

Oh that's right..the Indians. Well Scott may not have to worry. Almost blew an 11-2 lead Cry

I like melodies that stick in my mind, not crap sound effects and astral turd ambient celestial black hole bilge for half an hour as if a pseudohack like Steve Wilson could create his own Shine On or something. I don't adore IA, but the first few songs have things that draw me in, musically.

I enjoy most of the PT discography. But Stupid Dream and Lightbulb Sun are prolly my least favorite.

I hope that's sarcasm. LOL

Speaking of blowing leads, our former ex-closer Joakim Soria got a save after blowing bunches and bunches. The man was unstoppable last year, started off shaky this year, sucked, then became a reliever, had five scoreless innings and then kicked ass a closer once again.

Well, on ALL the PT albums I dont really like SW's vocals...worse is when he is just kind of talking through a distant box (which is often). Again, its all good man I just wanted to point that the album feels pretty lifeless to me.
It is all about the music of course. I love most of KC's stuff and their music is an emotionally empty as Henry!
