It's a beautiful album - band is listed under V here on the archives *s*. Probably assigned to the wrong genre though ;-)

I have to admit that I'm really awe struck by what I'm hearing. Extremely beautiful music (currently listening to "Galadriel"). I'll definitely be looking into more of their stuff.

The very first Camel disc I ever bought. Little did I know it was to start a landslide of buying up all of their music. Very wise investment, however.

If you forget about ''Teakbois'', the rest is quite good!

Man, you and I are in agreement there, Antoine. "Teakbois" is unlistenable to these ears. I don't much care for Bruford's electronic Simmon's kit back then, but still a good disc.

I used to have that disc but lost it long ago, and nothing about it ever cried out to be replaced.  Maybe I can download it somewhere (obviously legally).

I love Latimer's "Cheerio" at the end of "Fox Hill". What a great album!

although its unsurprisingly lacking in bass (Where's Chris Squire when you need him?...) and consequently sounds a bit 'tinny'...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Also lacking are Squire's signature backing vocals.

If I remember correctly Tony Levin plays bass on the ABWH album though, doesn't he?  Not too shabby of a replacement.

I think you're right. He was also on the ABW&H sections of Union as well. I think Saga's Ian Crichton was on that one, too.
