Argh, Susan Boyle's Christmas album is number one in music on Amazon and has been in the top 100 for 96 days.

Man, a lot of people complain about their families around this time of year. I don't know if they actually have crazy families or if they're just whiners.

That's upsetting.  I haven't heard it, but I'm assuming it's not very good.

Apparently the reviews say she practically whispers everything and uses a lot of electronic effects. WAY TO SELL OUT SUSAN

So I just ordered myself For Alto--Anthony Braxton, Get Out--Pita, and Interstellar Space from my sister. Woohoo. I think I might hit my limit for "sufficient number of free jazz albums" soon (I honestly barely ever listen to music at home and I don't have a CD player in my car, and I love the honking and squeaking but how many variations on it do I really need?) but those are albums I should really have anyway.

Wow what happened to the timeee?

These last two tweets are incredibly depressing. (as far as I know that is the real Mason Moore, click any of the links on that page with caution)

there is only ONE christmas song and that is O Holy Night

and very few people can sing it and do it well, to many have ruined that song or done it wrong

We have this thick blanket of white stuff covering the entire neighborhood and still continuing to fall!  Shocked

I'd better switch to Head and Shoulders.  Ouch

My parents should be here in a couple of hours, I will definitely have to dig them out tomorrow.  Also, I'm forcing them to stay overnight (they usually go to a hotel), they won't be able to drive anywhere tonight.

Have to go get some new snow boots for my oldest, and some food for a nice winter dinner - think I'll take along one of the many prog CDs I received yesterday - see, I stayed on-topic ;)
