I'm not going to refind my post but it bears repeating. New Orleans is a toilet. Also, if the giants offense & defense could show up to the same game they might be on to something...

I watched the Giants/SF game and man it was frustrating that the Giants offence just couldn't get it done, especially first and goal on the four yard line late in the game.

Holy sh*t, that was truly one of the worst things I've ever seen lol what's amazing is: final score was 16-10! Not sure what's more amazing, that we were in that game ALL f**king day and couldn't manage to find the one TD needed to take the lead, or how terrible the Giants look.
Our defense is crap, I'll be honest that was more about Kaep having a very bad day. They are just awful though. This O line that was looking so great has fallen apart. Eli pressured all day and the run game was truly painful. That said, the play calling was garbage!!! I am sorry, but there's keeping the defense honest, then there's running every first 2 downs with 0 success. We had that surprise on side recovery and the ensuing drive was flat. Beckham has a HUGE catch, we're on the 4 yard line and do the SAME play three times in a row. More critical drops, blown routes, just ugh.
I guess just a conflicted feeling of WOW he had no right being near that close a game, and WOW we couldn't capitalize once.

St Louis has a great defense, but holding Denver to 7???
Rodgers and co are really in sync, and explosive. It's not even right watching Green Bay play!

packers on fire again in 1 half, yes it's not right. Did not see giant game, but 5 picks? Yikes... Saints look awful, Brees does not look right or as accurate as usual. 4 and 6 falcons lead the division lol!

Holy hell, our offense is just too conservative! The Cardinals did a good job of shutting everything down today, but man, I felt like the Lions left a lot on the field today.

I expected a loss, so not too disappointed, but the officiating left a lot to be desired yesterday. They blew a number of calls, and all seemed to go in favor of the Cardinals. The worst, of course, being the punt return that was brought back to the Cardinals 46 yard line that after a challenge was moved to the 1-yard line. The FOX rules expert Pereira believed that they totally blew that call. I didn't see it but I had the radio on, and the Lions announcers were quoting the Three Stooges in their description of the officials.

Pack is playing Super Bowl caliber football right now. Not looking forward to them in a couple weeks.
But first, the Pat/Scott Bowl ;)

I have a pretty good idea how that is going to turn out. The Lions are having a good season, but they aren't ready for the top tier yet.

The St. Louis rams defense looks awesome on paper. Should give Seattle and SF fits for years to come. I believe Aaron Donald was one of the best defensive players available. Hate to see the Rams get him. |
I thought it was curious that they didn't immediately go for their secondary. That's where they need the biggest improvement defensively. I guess they're figuring with their front 4, they're going to bring enough pressure that most passing attacks won't be an issue. We'll see though. |
I think Denver saw yesterday.

The officials completely sucked, that's true, but I was getting frustrated with the lack of pass plays, as weird as that sounds. I loved the established run game with Joique, but it seemed like Calvin was targeted way too much (especially with the way Tate's been playing lately). Also, it seemed like the Cardinals secondary was just too suffocating and not really allowing people to get open. And to make that matter worse, Stafford seemed to be under pressure constantly.

You're telling me!!!
That third fade especially hurt has Donell had it in his hands and just couldn't come up with the catch....
Oh well...I expected just below average for the gmen and they aren't disappointing thus far.

While I wish the Titans could've finished the job, my fantasy team is very glad at Bell's huge day!

AP out at Vikings for the season! A needed win against the Titans and a good time for a bye week. Also, glad the Steelers let the whining Blount go....

Lol KC. Division games are weird indeed. Also had a classic trap game appearance .
I wonder if the surviving members of the 08 Lions just popped the champagne .

It was weird to see Justin Tuck again, esp in Oakland lol Well this game was just more proof, a good defense (or maybe just a smart/quick one) should always be able to stop this dink and dunk game. Looks like Smith actually opened up the pass and it went fairly successfully but was a little too late by then. They really are painful to watch, soooo many screens! His play in SF looks like Roethlisberger compared to how conservative it's been in KC! Poor Dwayne Bowe...he should request out! Giants could sure use another deep threat for next year!
Speaking of which, no one idea how Sunday night will go. We were within a TD like all damn game last time we played Dallas, though we're without Prince now... Geoff Schwartz is finally back from injury and will play RT replacing the injured Pugh. First play in week 12 and shifting from G to T BUT hey....it can't be worse than Charles Brown, god damn that guy sucks lol Also Dallas's D isn't as good as SF so we'll see.
Giants really can be 7-3 realistically, so I'm praying they at least rack up wins against the Jags, Titans and Skins. Ugh
