Downloaded music, E-books, Blu Ray, mobile phones and the frigging obsession people have with it all. No one seems to realise that it really doesn't bear the grand importance that they think it does. Nothing special about stuff anymore. Give me my cd's and vinyl and hardback books anyday. Those mean something to me.
Pop Culture aka reality TV and so called 'mens' and 'womens' mags. Gossipping, sexist, arrogant, closed minded tosh.
People who come to rock clubs regularly who are not rock fans. Particularly those who feel they have a right to change the nature of a venue which was never designed for thier custom in the first instance.
The 'Anti-Everything' brigade who presume that they personally have the right to interfere with what other human beings do and do not put into thier own bodies.
Religion, particularly those who presume that they have the right to interefere with your personal beliefs by way of evangelism and harrassment of sorts.
War, and by that I mean matters of invasion, attack for policy based reasons and interference, not defence which in an extreme case is rational.
The Smoking Ban. I smoke. I'm Scottish. Scottish weather is crap. One must smoke outside. Thus annoyance is inevitable.
Ice on pathways and stairs. I have had many accidents due to this crap. One of which was relatively serious.
Contemporary design. All white, off white, cream, chrome, minimalist, boring crap.
Lotteries, I mean if you're going to gamble, do it in an amusing way like playing slot machines or read all the info in the racing post to devise the correct horse or something. Don't just pick random numbers and hope for the best for the rest of your life with minimal chances of winning. It's daft.
Eggs. Horrid things, the smell of them clears me from a room in seconds.

People who make comments like that Not even being very funny, what a douchey and unoriginal comment to make! Also: "The Obsidian Conspiracy" by Nevermore Sorry Slart, it makes me too angry

people who don't care about art, music, literature etc.
people who think that movies have made books obsolete
people who are disgusted by food they have never tried... yes I just ordered a beef tounge taco for your information evryone else in the world who isn't from north america thinks its delicious stop being a dumb american
people who think the middle of the united states is inferior to the coasts, honestly I hate californian/new york/new england snobbishness the midwest and rocky mountians is where its at!
prog fans who are obsessed with defining prog
prog fans who dismiss metal
prog fans who dismiss post rock especially when they like kraut rock and space rock... really its like the same idea!
prog fans who get pissed when you insist lady gaga is interesting
bland boring food (fast food and health food, both)
bland boring music (the mistakes make it sound good, i don't want to listen to machines)
bland boring art (for gods sake take a chance just because this is what your prof taught you its not what you have to do for the rest of your life, make a mess make somthing worth my time!)
hipsters who hate everything
hipsters who love everything indescrimmanetaly

political labels. no one gives a damn if libertarians will never die, if the socialist revolution is near or if anarchy is the answer!
people who are obsessed with one sport and know everything about it. I don't think its cool that you know how many interceptions so and so threw last season or how fast so and sos fast ball is. thats not cool its sad, I don't go around telling people statistics about music, why would I want to know that!!!!

Proggers are cool. I've talked to and met tons of awesome people at concerts. Many members of the insane fringe flock to these forums.

This. But in my case, I mean those who always vote the same way and have no clue who or what they're voting for because they vote for the sake of it or because their parents vote that way and they think their parents are right.

Not sure where you've been, Mark.
I know a guy who likes VdGG, Can and a whole slew of other stuff and we don't get on that well really. I've met other proggers in real-life too and the same thing occurs.
Maybe it's me but I doubt it, as I have a lot of non-prog loving friends.

Only meeting a few people at gigs. Not a great number of examples to draw on I guess. Most people turn up the ass holery to an extreme once they're on the internet. Which is probably why it's more infuriating on PA

But you can ignore the arseholery on here. In real-life it's a bit harder if that person is at a gig or in the same room as you for a long time.
