Either way its quite nice!

I thought that Joel's piano was really good, but it sounded lonely, so some river noises and a few tweaks turns it into a ambient jam.

Must agree with Joel Rawks really good dude
And I am off for now. I keep saying it, but look out for metal tomorrow. It may be a huge boat of fail, but I will try.

And if anyone wants drumming to their pieces let me know, but all are certainly stand alone good at the moment. It'd probably be minimal anyway

Ambient redux of Joel's track, fused with river sounds, and a few edit mixes.

My past two hours of attempting to write metal have been completely fruitless I'll try to get some other stuff down tomorrow.

Also, super random idea, but what do you guys think about this: We make a double album... The first disc as group tracks, and the second disc of solo spot tracks?

Joel I've found a legal version of basically the same river sound, all we have to do is link and acknowledge the website in the product.

There are a couple of public domain river sounds here. I didn't listen to them though. Just google "public domain sounds" and I'm sure you'll find more.

Public domain = no referencing?

Those samples are good.

Public domain = no referencing?

Those samples are good.

"Works are in the public domain if they are not covered by intellectual property rights at all, if the intellectual property rights have expired, and/or if the intellectual property rights are forfeited."

"In a general context public domain may refer to ideas, information and works that are "publicly available", but in the context of intellectual property law, which includes copyright, patents and trademarks, public domain refers to works, ideas, and information which are intangible to private ownership and/or which are available for use by members of the public."

- Wikipedia

So, no referencing, I guess.

I might re-record the piano (there's a couple of errors in my playing on that recording) and probably play it a lot slower.

Can you edit that onto that recording, or do you want me to?

I can save it as an Audacity Project File so it can be opened into Audacity then you can add the river track if you like, or I can do both.

Well, if I save it into the Audacity File, then it can be edited as if made in real time, IE, it'd work as if it was recorded on one computer, without having to be exported as an MP3.

Basically, I can record the better version, upload it, then you can download it and add your touches into that same Audacity file (like editing a Word Document) and then export the finished product.

Sound good?
