Not really a fan of the vocalist on this type of music.

Sigh. It seems Mike has gone in a simple pop direction. Strange, when in his autobiography he talked about hoping for a resurgence in prog and adventurous music.

Yeah they can be pricey but this one is quite reasonable (20$ sur Amazon). Anyway, it will have to wait, so broke right now I can't even afford a used cd.

Had my first listen last night and nodded off around track 5. I'm currently listening to the second disc of instrumental versions. I'm struggling to hear Mike Oldfield at all. He normally has such a distinct guitar sound and style but this could be anyone. Its not terrible but I would recommend that only big Mike Oldfield fans get this. Its got 2 stars all over it.

I'll be giving it three or four. I think it contains some of his best guitar work in years, and the vocalist is a real find.

Did get my toe tapping must admit. Not sure if the drummer is real though , but that never bothered me particularly before.

Some great guitar work, but not such a big fan of the new singer. Feels more pop than prog, but I'm sure it'll grow on me

Luke Stiller from the Struts is an incredible vocalist, kind of like a young Freddie Mercury. Have not heard much of the album but looking at the Sailing video I think it is great to see MO having FUN and enjoying himself.

Yes after further listens I think some of the guitar work is excellent, from Songs of Distant Earth era. And I must confess I think Luke Stiller will go from strength to strength.

It's on Spotify.
I agree with others - the vocalist is a real find. Some of the songs are catchy and quite fun but lyrically it sounds like he swallowed a book of cliches and I cringed in a few places.
