The Lamb.
Interesting that it has changed over the years...throughout the 70's and 80's my fave was Nursery Cryme. In the 90's I loved SEBTP, but for the past 10 years or so I can't get enough of The Lamb.

I have it on now. I think it is a great album.
(Voted for Nursery Cryme, though )

I've never had the patience for And Then There Were Three. Eventually I plan to give it a fair chance, but so far it's always too boring for me

'Selling England By The Pound', but voted for 'Foxtrot' since it's on the same level for me but unfortunately losing this poll.
As for 'And Then There Were Three', it's not a bad album anyway. Already a bit too poppy, but still holds a lot of classic-era Genesis melodism. Definitely the best LP from that infamous and notorious trio.

I didn't mean to say "And Then There Were Three" would be in my top 7 Genesis albums, just that there is a richness to the texture of it that is pretty interesting to fathom. A lot of glissando. Maybe they were trying to "clone Hackett and put it on steroids." I wonder if Voyage actually broke ground as a studio album as far as sonically unique ground in terms of engineering.

I also love ATTWT, a great album! I would've gone for SEBTP except for the dreadful Battle of Epping Forest(IMO). Never could stand that track. I've always felt it ruined the flow of the album.

It doesn't matter how many of these Genesis polls are made, I'll vote for The Lamb every time.

I love ATTWT. I could vote for Trick or Wind, too, but Tony's keyboard work on ATTWT is like ear candy.

Foxtrot, followed by Trick of the Tail and Nursery Cryme.

ATOTT. Love the sound of that album. The Lamb is indecipherable to me. Selling England, as all of the Gabriel albums are very good. ATTW3 has a special place as its were I first heard Genesis. The only album that I don't play is the first one.

I'd vote for SEBTP but as I love Foxtrot almost the same, my vote goes to Foxtrot this time. And with Lamb and Nursery Cryme almost the par with them.

Selling England still gets my vote, but And Then There Were Three and Duke are also good candidates for me.

I always found Lamb a bit boring and SEBTB even more so. But I'll continue down the predictable path and choose Foxtrot, which I do like, along with Nursery Cryme and Trespass.
