I guess I'll vote for the Wall. I'm not nuts about any of the other albums here that I am familiar with. I like them ok (Sunday of Life & Kawana especially), but not as much as the Wall.
Sleepytime Gorilla Museum is a band I've attempted to acquaint myself with, but I just can't quite stomach them. I appreciate what they're trying to do, but it makes me queasy.

On the Sunday of Life is really uneven for me.... a few tracks are amazing though

I happen to be one of those people who thinks The Wall is a masterpiece, but I feel like voting for something else. I just noticed that only the ones I know have no votes . Anyway I feel like going with the ultra spacey Fragments Of Light, I really dig that debut album and can definitely reommend it to all you space fans.

Heatwave pretty easily for me. On The Sunday... and Of Natural History would be by two & three. |
I didn't know you were a fan of On The Sunday Of Life. It's just that not too many are although Wanorak(Jeff) just gave it a vote and i too think highly of it. |
I am! It's quite the goodie. Theres just something about it...maybe its the naivety of youth bursting through. I do think it's also one of the more consistent ones in the PT discog (and highly consistent...not just average all the way through.
My top 3 PT would probably be:
Stupid Dream
On The Sunday...

Love Zao, TD, and UZ but have to go with Vespero's masterful By the Waters of Tomorrow. It makes me want to get up and move!
I've had enough of the wall for this lifetime, thank you very much. |
I would rate that ZAO album as my runnerup here and it's sad to see it without a vote but at least it's been mentioned. Didier Lockwood from MAGMA is part of the band at this point on violin. This would be their best selling album but they imploded before the next record when Seffer, Truong and Lockwood would leave. Only Cahen and Prevost would remain. A jazzy record for sure but Free Folk has that Zeuhl flavour and is my favouriite song on here. So freaking good !!
Hey i've been doing job search most of the day guys and working on my resume. Just sayin'.

That made me laugh right out loud. Yeah there was a reason it was R rated i suppose. I wasn't too happy with it at the time, haven't seen it since.

I think Curious Corn is one of their best, some nice variety on it as well.

In my top three here with Univers Zero and Zao, in fact i could have easily picked this one in the poll. Love this band ! I would rate this as my favourite from them.

UUUUUHHHH what a pickle!
The sheer thought of having to choose between Vespero and TD is just mad. Maybe I'll toss a coin or something... Maybe let my cat sniff the albums and scratch the right one? |

Interesting because your not really into just one period of the band but pick one from each era.

I consider myself a Floydian but my vote goes to Atem

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I went with the Russians in the end. Damn fine album, and extraordinary drummer!

I only have had the top three and bottom two choices in the poll. Of those, I think my order would be: 1. Atem 2, Kawana 3. Heatwave 4. The Wall 5. Of Natural History
The only one of those albums I never loved is the Sleepytime Gorilla Museum one as the metal/ harsh stuff put me off, but I haven't tried listening to it since around the time I joined PA. The Wall was one of my very favourite rock albums for many, many years.
