algun prog latino por ahi???

saludos desde tijuana, al norte de mexico, en la frontera con estados unidos....., que bueno que hay latinos a los que les gusta el progresivo, de por aqui hay una banda muy buena llamada cast, ellos son de mexicali, a dos horas de aqui.......

paso a explicar algo:

les cuento que en chile la difusion del prog rock solo se preocupa de las grandes bandas(genesis,king krimson y todos esos bastardos)......pocos programas (2 , a lo mas 3)se preocupan de difundir cosas tan espectaculares como por ejemplo hatfield and the north o egg (por ejemplo),el problema de esto es que es un tanto dificultoso conocer gente que goze de esta maravillosa musica............tambien he visto un sentimiento elitista (en chile), ya que si escuchas musica buena y combinas tus gustos con cosas como el pop(el buen pop) te ven como alguien que no tiene definido lo que es fineza.eso.

pd:tambien gozo del jazz ,la musica contemporanea(los "doctos"), el buen pop, etc,etc,etc...

yo vivo en new york por mas de 18 anos y todavia no he
conocido un domincano o hispano que le guste este genero
del rock hasta es dificil encrontran un americano. en el trabajo
lo sorprendo a todos los hispanos y americanos cuando les
ponga esta musica tanta rara y fuera de lo comun enn estos
dias.

Holy smokes Tony.  I thought I was the bigoted one on these boards.  This is an international forum and as such, people should be free to have their own topics where they can speak in their native tongue.  I don't have a clue as to what they are saying, so I don't even try to read the posts.  However, I don't think it is offensive because people in Mexico speak Spanish, or people in Germany speak German.  Hell, if I thought that I would never own any PFM albums (I mean how dare they do albums in Italian).  By not allowing people to speak anything but English on these boards, I think you would be cutting out a very large segment of the prog rock community.  These posts are not doing anyone any harm, so I say live and let live.
