I definitely wouldn't judge this album (or any album actually) with an inattentive listen. Much like Sacrament took me some time to get into, back when I discovered White Willow, this one as well takes time to unfold its hidden beauty and appeal. Now that I've listened to it several times (not enough yet for a review, but it will come), it has won me over. Gorgeous, more adventurous than previous albums, and to me their best yet (I hate that cliche, but it's true in this case).
I agree with this, for the most part. I remember when I saw that "Sacrament" was on Greg Walker's list of best prog albums. I listened to it and thought he was a bit off. But it has really grown on me over the years. And this album is no different. Whether it's ultimately better than "Sacrament," time will tell. But it's close, for sure.

I'd agree with that as well, the only reason I loved Terminal Twilight on first listen was because I was in the dark with the sound way up!
Oh, and excellent interview there Assaf, some excellent questions and answers.

There will indeed be a vinyl release of Terminal Twilight, it's just around the corner, actually :-)
And yes, we have similar plans for the rest of the catalog. As you may know, we already started with the first album, which was released as a pretty gorgeous double gatefold LP with a long bonus track. More to come!

To each his own, of course. But give it some time - White Willow albums are known to be growers and a bit of an acquired taste, especially if it's your first exposure. :-)
I haven't given up yet! Just giving my first impression. I will certainly listen to it many more times (well, unless it's really awful! <g>). Honestly, based on reviews of previous albums I do have somewhat high hopes for it.

We are proud to present the new music video of the song "Kansas Regrets" off White Willow's new album "Terminal Twilight". The song was co-written with Tim Bowness, and is also sung by him. Dion Johnson directed the video.
Terminal Twilight is available from http://termo.myshopify.com/ as well as from itunes, amazon and any good vendor.
