If not it is useless.

Today it is 82 degrees (27.7) and fairly sunny, lots of blue sky.

This is great considering the past month or so it has been perpetually cloudy and cool....

Thin overhead cloud, sun breaking through. Thin weak sort of sun. Slightly chilly breeze.

It's hot. No cloud cover. My skin is leaking like a sieve. The thermometer outside (shaded, not in direct sun, sorry I don't have a Stevenson screen for more accurate measurements) reads 27ºC. I'm supposed to be out there ripping up a dead hedge ready for the replacement plants that will be arriving next week, but I can manage about 30minutes work before I have to come in for a cold drink and change of t-shirt.

You're lucky. It's completely clouded and freezing cold here.

Looks like we're getting a pass.
Oh this radar image link updates.
The barrage of tornadoes continues this season.  I won't be surprised if this becomes a bad hurricane season. Unhappy

This is a puzzle. The BBC website for Alton says I'm currently experiencing 17ºC with some sunny intervals (Yahoo weather confirms this). I can assure you that today, just like every day this week has been zero cloud cover and temperatures in the mid to high 20s. I was in London on Sunday and Northampton on Monday and the weather was nothing like this.
What?

What? LOL It was 15 degrees here the other day and I was ecstatic.

Today it's not gonna get very warm, cloudy and chilly and there's likely gonna be thunderstorms this afternoon.
