Congratz! The first thing that popped into my mind was, although not instrumental, Wedding Song by Loudest Whisper. It is short, sweet, mellow, with some fantastic female vocals. Heck! you could even dance to it.

Congrats!
Karda Estra is an instrumental band with beautiful, mellow music. Try something off of Eve or Constellations, both albums are great :)
The Enid has some pretty good stuff as well and are worth checking out.
Some Chamber Rock should fit the bill, stay away from the darker stuff (Univers Zero, Present, etc.), some songs by artists like Aranis and PikaPika TeArt should do well.
Maybe the Japanese post-rock band Mono has something to offer as well? Their music is beautiful.

Greg Lake - Closer To Believing (Lake/Sinfield 1977 from ELP -Works Vol One)
I would say this is the most romantic song I've ever heard without it being cheesy or slushy. Just some very beautifull sentiments expressed in a nice old fashioned sort of way.
If you want something a little ironic and to raise a smile then Queen's version of the Wedding March from the Flash Gordon soundtrack might be worth thinking about.

Well, firstly many congratulations. I hope you are as happy as I have been
I'm not going to suggest an instrumental. I'm going to go for two yes songs, both of them wonderful love stories:
1. If Only You Knew
2. Turn Of The Century
You'll have her and them weak at the knees
Sorry, I'm not so sure about Turn of the Century; it's about the death of the lover of a sculptor (though it's a very beautiful song indeed). And you And I seems to have better suited lyrics... as far as they can be understood.
If I'm not wrong it's more about the myth of Pygmalion and Galatea, the sculptor who falls in love with his creation.
