It's very sad to hear about this. His bass work was a big influence on my own playing and I loved his work with Japan and Gary Numan. Rest in peace.

That is a shock, I didn't even know he was ill. A great player, RIP Mick.

I am a DJ at my local pub...  We play classic and prog rock a LOT.  I will be playing some Karn on Friday whether they like it or not.  I played some Japan last week and a few people got up and danced.  I was shocked.

This really sucks.  He was possibly one of the most unique sounding bass players in music.  His sense of adventure on his instrument was unparalleled.

I for one will really miss his music.  Sad day for everyone!  Cry
