So let me get this straight. People still actually care about which artists are on PA and which are not?
Hard to believe, especially since it's so easy to come up with an objective definition of Prog. And, of course, it's vital that we come up with that definition. Also, vital that we don't listen to things that we decided we don't like.

What is the world coming to?

Well, think of it like this. You go to this website about this weird prog thing and you see the artist Bjork on the front page of it. I think that would turn people away from not only this website but also progressive rock as a whole.

Regardless of the fact that I find her more irritating that a mains powered squeaky toy, Bjork's output is certainly eclectic and experimental (but then so are Jane Siberry and PJ Harvey I guess)
Given the current climate for additions on PA, were the Radical Prog Party to run for election I suspect they would lose their deposit. We are way too far down the inclusive road now for a U turn methinks. I believe PA will continue to mutate into a repository for all kinds of interesting, innovative and experimental rock music and whether we like it or not, the Prog hard-liners will suffer the same fate as the dinosaurs they gaze lovingly on behind the glass case.
If we're forced to choose, give me a zoo over a museum any day.
And if Bjork was rock I think I'd be less objective.
However, I do think it would be good to see this site be Progressive MUSIC archives and just add al sorts of progressive jazz, avant-garde, experimental japanese folk, etc to this site. I know Logan started a thread about it, hell I might of as well. Sadly that won't happen anytime soon and if this site is promoting itself as a progressive rock site the artists on this site need to be both progressive and rock.
And if it does happen we;d have to kick off artists like Queen and Styx which I don't see happening anytime soon either.

And just like other artists I disagree with being on here I will ask and honestly listen to with open ears:
Which album(s) of hers are progressive rock?
